About Us
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that focuses on providing technical rescue courses, outdoor adventure programs for at-risk teens and mini therapy expeditions.
WILD edu has had the privilege of teaching technical rescue courses and emergency medical classes to government agencies and guide companies around the country. We offer Swiftwater and Floodwater Rescue courses, Rope Rescue and Boat Operator courses that meet or exceed the NFPA standards and FEMA experience requirements. WILD edu is an approved technical rescue training provider by the Florida State Fire College and has worker with agencies across the country. We also offer SOLO certification courses for Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness First Aid certifications as well as American Heart Association BLS and Heartsaver CPR. WILD edu is also an approved Red Cross Lifeguard training center.
We also spend a large amount of our time with our at-risk/at-hope teen adventure programs. We focuses on building character, developing self-worth, teaching leadership, communication and responsibilities, while creating strong morals through outdoor activities. Our goal is to show our particpants they are capable of getting outside their comfort zone and achieve more than they thought they could.
WILD edu also focuses on helping the families of fallen first responders and military members. Through our mini expedition program, children and families get to experience adventures with others dealing with the same struggles. Through these outings the participants not only have therapy sessions but get to take on challenges and fears, while finding hope, confidence, fun and friendship.
